I started OMG Photo in 2005 as my "next career". After 3 years as a commercial diver, 15 years as a registered nurse and 10 years as a software designer I needed some outlet for my creative side. Therefore I combined my love of sports, especially equestrian sports, with my love of photography.

For me, this is not about creating great photos as much as it is about preserving memories. Compared to us, our horses live such short lives. How long do we have with them...ten, fifteen, maybe twenty years if we are lucky? And before you know it they are gone. It is my goal to capture moments of time that you can enjoy long after your horse has gone. The horse that provided you with so many memories should not be forgotten.

Along the way, I am working on a project called The Women of Washington where I hope to tell the stories of some of the more interesting women that live in our state. By early 2009 I hope to have that project complete and available for viewing on the web.

If you should see me taking pictures in your area feel free to say hello. I am one using the big white Canon lenses and usually wearing a red ball cap. Take care.
